I’m Deona Benson, Prophet, Pastor, spiritual leader, mentor, and Breakthrough Coach. By the grace of God, I overcame a devastating setback in the very early years of ministry that should have left me broken, but instead, God handed me the tools for survival and recovery through His Word. What was meant to destroy me became the foundation for the ministry and mantle I now carry.
This isn’t just coaching, it’s a calling.
Every session, every tool, and every teaching is rooted in the Word of God and backed by lived experience. I’ve walked through the fire and emerged with a mandate: to strengthen the minds, heal the hearts, and restore the purpose of those who feel lost, weary, or distracted by life’s battles.

Greetings
To my dear brothers and sisters in Christ in South Africa,
I bring you greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My name is Prophetess
Deona Benson and I am a Certified Temperament Counselor and Life Coach. I, along with my
husband, Pastor Dedrick Benson, also pastor the University of Life Church, a ministry located in
Oxford, Mississippi, here in the United States. I am the founder of Beyond the Break
Academy a Christ-centered program that provides a safe, loving, and nurturing environment for
individuals to break through the hard places and victoriously reclaim their lives.
I have had the pleasure and distinct honor of ministering in South Africa several times.
It is now a place I consider home away from home as I have gained many relationships that have filled my heart with love. I am so grateful for all the ministry connections and the many open doors that have been opened to me.
Between a widespread pandemic that has caused the loss of many lives,
as well as the personal struggles due to the effects of childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and
life circumstances, much suffering has been endured. I am aware that many are yet still recovering, believing God for full restoration.
Yet, the bible gives us good news: in the face of
your trials, you have overwhelming victory through Christ Jesus (Romans 8:37). God’s plans
towards you are good, filled with hopeful expectation (Jeremiah 29:11), and He desires you
to live a life overflowing in abundance (John 10:10).
It is Beyond the Break has a global mission to rescue and restore broken lives, bring healing to hurting
hearts, help the helpless, and empower the weak by satisfying the needs through the love of
Jesus Christ. Therefore, I am excited to extend this opportunity to experience divine healing
and breakthrough virtually. Beyond the Break Academy is hosting a virtual 5-week healing
course beginning in February 2025. In this healing course, you will learn to take the word of God and
apply it practically to your life so that you experience supernatural breakthrough in every area.
